Sailing from Park Bay
The following photographs show family, visitors and friends from Park Farm and Rivermead enjoying their watersports!
There are many other attractions and amenities available within a few minutes drive. Fishing: Sea fishing trips are available from Salcombe. There is also fishing off the beaches within the estuary. In addition, there are fresh water fisheries within easy reach or you could try your hand at tiddler-snatching in our own lake!
Swimming: Kingsbridge has its own full size indoor swimming pool connected to the Leisure centre. There are also many lovely beaches in the area. Surfing: Bantham beach, the best surfing beach in the South Hams is within 20 minutes drive. Golf: Golf is available at Thurlestone, Bigbury and Dartmouth Riding: There are a number of riding stables within easy distance of the farm. Walking: The whole area around the estuary and the coastal reaches beyond are of extreme beauty and a walkers paradise. A walk along part of the South West Coastal Path is not to be missed. You are welcome to wander around the farm and look at the animals. Eating Out: Kingsbridge and Salcombe have a great variety of interesting restaurants and pubs. For those who do not wish to drive, there are taxis which are readily available.

Rivermead can be seen in the middle
distance, while Park Farm is
hidden behind the trees to the left of Rivermead. If you do not have your own
boat, sailing and motor boats can be hired from boatyards or clubs nearby in Salcombe or
Kingsbridge.
